DO NOT FEAR WHAT YOUR'VE NEVER SEEN..
BUT DARE TO FACE YOUR FEAR

A ghost has been define as the disembodied spirit or soul of a dead person, although in popular usage the term refers only to the apparition of such a person. It also described as immaterial and partly transparent, ghosts are reported to haunt particular locations or people that they were associated with in life or at time of death.

Phone Booth Ghost

This story happened in a local university campus. You see, back in those days when hand phone was something unheard of, not much of a common asset or only something that the “rich” people could afford, all students use the phone at a phone booth located near their hostel.

One late night, this student was hanging on the phone for a very long time chatting with his girlfriend. Although he knew people were waiting in line, he just kept on yakking on the phone ignoring the frustration of the others. After about an hour or so, the crowd dwindled to just one more person standing behind him. After a while, he heard the person asking him if he was going to take a very long time but he just ignored him and kept on chatting. In fact, he was quite irritated that the person wasn’t using the other phone booth which was located not far away from the one he was using.

It was not long when he suddenly noticed that the person behind him had no legs. He immediately felt something amiss and told his girlfriend that he had ran out of coins and needed to head back to the hostel. After hanging up the phone, he immediately turn and walked away. He did not even dared to look up as he was afraid of what he might see.

While waiting for the elevators, he whistled a tune just to get off the scary experience that he just encountered. As the elevators came, he walked into the empty elevator and pressed on the button that would bring him to his dormitory floor. In the elevator, he suddenly heard the same voice that spoke to him at the phone booth laughing and said “Oh, so you do realize that you ran out of coins huh?”. Needless to say, the guy fainted.

Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) Ghost Story

University Utara Malaysia (UUM) . Have you heard of the bus incident? Yes? Well, I’ve always thought that it was nonsense right until that very day, it changed the way I thought about ghost stories. It happened during the holiday break when the campus is most serene. It was already late in the evening and being one of the committee members that holds the induction for new students, I had to be there to prepare the hall for the newbies.

At that time, we were at the Hall known as Dewan Peperiksaan when my friend asked if I wanted to follow her to the washroom. I thought why not and we walked together to the washroom. The washroom was located at the far end of the corridor and we had to pass a place where the Surau is. The corridor was pretty dark except for some occasional lights and the even the Surau was pitch black. As we were passing by the Surau, I suddenly heard sounds of children playing and laughing. I was pretty puzzled since I could hear very clearly that the noises came from the pitch black surau. My goosebumps immediately appeared and I asked my friend if she heard anything. My friend did not respond and merely just asked me to walk faster. We increased our walking speed, hurried to the washroom to finish our business and walked back to the Dewan Peperiksaan.

It was not until we reached the bright hall that my friend admitted that she heard exactly what I heard. You see, as my study term came to an end, the stories I hear about of girls suddenly going hysterical out of a sudden to the extend that they even act and speak in different voice was common. I even personally had an experience myself. It happened when I was showering when I saw the gentle charming girl I knew acting all crazy running around and screaming in a man’s voice. The next thing I knew, all her friends were chasing after her trying to hold her down and after more people came to help, they brought her to the Ustaz (religious teacher) who managed to “calm” her down.

Gua Musang’s Haunted Road

Sarah
and her family have a habit of going back hometown during late nights just because they simply preferred traveling in the
night. Although most people advised against it but they didn’t care as traveling late night seemed like a more convenient way as their kids would be fast asleep in the car.

Because Sarah stays in Kelantan she has to pass by Gua Musang on her way back and from home. During the nights, she would experience fragrant smells in her car when they passed by the area. At times, it would be the smell of rotten stench that one could not have endured for more than 5 minutes. But most of the time, these smells would go as sudden as it came.

That night was the same as any night, Sarah once again had warned her husband not to drive too fast or try racing with other drivers on the road before the start of the journey. Of course, just as usual, her husband would not heed her advice. As soon as they reached the Gua Musang area, Sarah who was at that time fast asleep, woke up with a jolt with the feeling the car was going faster. It was then she noticed that her husband was “racing” with another car on the road. Sarah kept quiet as she knew her naggings would only turn deaf ear and look straight ahead the road. Both her husband and the other driver was driving head on head next to each other when she suddenly felt the car going slow. Surprised, Sarah asked her husband what was wrong but he did not reply. He was quiet the whole journey and Sarah decided not to press on that matter.

The very next day, Sarah’s husband admitted that he saw clearly a headless driver when their car were next to each other and thought it was better to “lose” the racing.

be careful at Ayer Hitam Highway

My friend was driving alone at around 8pm heading towards KL on one lonely night after his work duties in Johor. It was just another exit at Ayer Hitam and he would be reaching the Yong Peng exit. Everything was as per normal as he drove through this highway a dozen times before as his work requires him to travel to Johor quite frequently. However, this time was slightly different as he needed to rush back home that same night.

As he was reaching that exit, one car honked at him. As the car was passing, he saw the driver pointing at him. Although he was puzzled, he did not stop and continued driving. Then another car honked at him. Again, the driver of that car pointed at him. However, this time was different, the driver was persistent and kept on giving him signal to stop. My friend immediately thought that he had a flat tyre and stopped at the emergency late to check out his car. At the same time, that driver that had asked him to stop also stopped beside him.

The driver immediately told his friend that he had been in danger if he would have continued to drive as the driver saw something hanging onto his car rooftop. The thing that he saw was a pale woman with long hair and bloody mouth.
